Auto Squelch
With the industries first auto squelch circuit, the SAS-440 / SAS-640 Intercom Series introduces a new level of safety and convenience to the pilot. No more time wasted setting the squelch, one touch of the squelch button and the intercom sets itself to work perfectly in the quietest or noisiest of aircraft.
Pilot Isolate
Pilot isolate allows your passengers to converse with each other while you talk to ATC without interruption. Even if the intercom is off, our fail safe feature allows the pilot to always hear and transmit on the radio.
Designed To Fit
Designed to easily fit almost anywhere in the cockpit, the SAS Series can be mounted horizontally, vertically or with an available 2" circular faceplate. SAS intercoms have a small 1" x 2.5" x 6" chassis size and require only a 1" x 2.5" panel space. Both the SAS-440 and SAS-640 intercoms have a low weight 6.4 oz. chassis, and 5.5 oz. for jacks and wiring harness. Installation hardware is included, including jack kit and pre-wired harness.

Upgrade Your SAS Intercom
Add full stereo to the SAS-440 / 640 auto squelch intercoms. The RMS system does not require removal of your existing intercom installation.
The RMS accepts input from a CD player, cassette player, AM / FM stereo receiver or Walkman. Music is muted when VHF / Comm is transmitting or receiving or when speaking on the intercom.
Passengers can also be put on uninterrupted music if they desire.
