You can use a mobile or portable stereo system: cassettes, CD players or AM/FM receivers. Inputs are provided for line level, headphone level (Walkman), and speaker level outputs up to 25 watts per channel maximum.
- Easy to add to your existing Sigtronics SPA or SAS intercom!
The RES 401 model plugs into any Sigtronics SPA-400 intercom and comes with all necessary hardware and stereo jacks. No need to rewire a new intercom. Pilot and passengers can intercom, listen to monaural or stereo music, and hear the VHF radio. Music is interrupted when the VHF radio is active (transmit or receive) or when talking on the intercom. The rear passengers can be put on uninterrupted music in the Pilot Isolate mode. Model number RES-601 is for 6 place aircraft. For the 4 place Sigtronics SAS-440 intercom use the RMS-440. And if your aircraft has a SAS-640 intercom, use the RMS-640 Music Switcher.

The Sigtronics RES-2 Audio Switcher is American designed and built to provide the same, full, hi-fidelity stereo or mono music system in aircraft without an intercom such as single-seat, or in multiple seat aircraft equipped with non-Sigtronics intercoms.
As with all Sigtronics systems, the RES units come with a pre-wired harness. Stereo headphone jacks are included. For the best stereo reproduction, Sigtronics HI-FIDELITY stereo headsets are highly recommended. The switcher can also be wired for monaural, general aviation headsets.
